Learn about the latest tool which can monitor scoliosis curve progression. Momentum Health is an FDA Cleared mobile platform for remotely monitoring and screening for scoliosis using a smartphone video. The app uses a 45 second video taken on any phone at home or in clinic to create a photo-realistic 3D Model of the patient's body and using AI can predict the maximum Cobb Angle and assess other key metrics automatically.
It was started by Dr. Jean Ouellet and a masters student in Montreal where they validated it at St. Justine with Dr. Parent. They have been backed by the AO Foundation as their partner.
